Explaining where, when, why, and how increasing wildfire risk causes human organizations to change.
We need your feedback! Join us for a research workshop on wildfire risk management networks during the 5th Central Oregon Fire Science Symposium! Provide critical guidance to this National Science Foundation funded project exploring how individuals, communities, groups, and organizations in fire-prone regions change and reorganize relationships to better cope with and adapt to increasingly large and intense wildfires. In this project, we will summarize key lessons learned from four western US study areas and then test the most promising lessons in Central Oregon using a first-of-its-kind Envision computer simulation model. Your insights are critical!
